Our custom version of oscommerce, which is included free with the order of any of our UNIX oscommerce hosting packages, includes the following functionality and custom contributions:

FEDEX Real Time RateService 6.0+: UPDATED 4/2011 - Our custom FEDEX Module includes updates for the recent FEDEX RateServices version 6.0 compliance.
USPS Methods Version 4.0 (dom) & version 2.0 (int): UPDATED 2/2011 - Our custom USPS Methods module for real time rates has been updated to include compliance for updates for the newest USPS domestic and international API system.
AJAX Newsletter System Replacement: This addition replaces the existing oscommerce customer newsletter system, which if you attempted to send out to more than estimated 500 newsletters (based partially on hosting settings), it would bomb out. New version uses full AJAX to send out emails in batches, update how many have been sent out on your screen in real time, will continue running in background even after you shut your browser, and can at anytime stop it / restart it completely or pickup where you last left off.
SID Killer: This addition removes the OscSID from the URL string, commonly seen when a person first enters the site. The session ID is only added in once they add their first item to cart or register.
Cross Site Scripting PCI Security Fix: osCommerce code has been hardened for PCI compliance against Cross Site Scripting Vunerability.
Disallow Indexing Of Old Pages: When you delete a product or category page, it now ensures the search engines will drop that URL from their database, but allows customers to come back to that page and still browse your website if they saved that link. This was done to ensure clean current links are used.
Previously if you deleted a product or category, the URL would still be in the search engines. As such the search engines would keep those URLs and penalize people for having pages with duplicate content.
Fully Integrated Search Engine Optimization Package: This includes a new search engine friendly URL system, category product description contribution, dynamic meta tag system for categories & products, and various SEO work done across the system.

Automatic Product Thumbnail Generation: Now you can create product thumbnails on the fly as simple as loading your product page! This improves overall loading speed of your product pages and product listings, without the need to create secondary thumbnail images any longer.
Category Status: Our system now gives you the ability to instantly turn categories on and off via our administrative tools. If a category is turned off, it will not show up on your storefront or show any products within that category. Great tool if you need to perform maintenance on a single category, or want to create a category and add products before going live with it.
About Us w/ Admin Control: Our system now offers an 'About Us' page where you can control the content directly within the admin tools, so you can change the content on the fly.
Define Information Pages: You now have complete administrative control to instantly edit the content of the following pages within the admin tools: Home Page(center column), About Us, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Shipping & Returns pages.
Free Pickup Shipping Module: Allows you to let customers select "free pickup" as shipping option. Can optionally select to only show this for customers within your state or country.
FREE SHIPPING Module: Our own custom free shipping module. Allows you to set how much a customer has to have in their cart to qualify, which country / zone that qualifies for it, and best part is it will continue to display your other available shipping options during checkout (vs. old one which did not) so customer can still choose different paid method if desired.
Google XML Site Map: Supporting the new Google XML Site Mapping feature, automatically generates XML pages to submit to google for your categories and your products for better search engine spidering.
Manual Product Meta Tags: In addition with our already great "Dynamic Meta Tags" module, now you can enter unique keywords and descriptions for the search engines to find and get improve rankings for your products. If you opt not to enter anything, your meta tags will be automatically created for you based upon your product information.
LinkPoint Connect: Now you can accept LinkPoint payments.
PayPal IPN Payment Module: Now even if customers do not click to return to your store to complete their order, orders are stored in your database in advance, full details of the order are sent to paypal, and if they do not have a paypal account their billing information is automatically populated into paypal.
Real Time UPS XML Shipping Rates: Give your customers specific pricing based upon package weight and zip code. Requires UPS registration for official UPS XML Access Key.
Authorize.net AIM Payment Module: Now accepting Authorize.net is even more secure than ever.
Authorize.net eCheck Module: Allow your customers to pay by their checking account right online.
Package Tracking: Our customized system allows you to enter up to 3 FedEx, UPS, and USPS tracking numbers for each order. Customers are notified automatically of their tracking numbers, and can track their packages at any time by viewing their order history with the click of a button.
